Macy’s and Safeway, together with other stores in the Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord, have kicked off their “Sunvalley Gives Back” program.
During this program, which runs until
August 31, those who shop in any Sunvalley Shopping Center restaurant or store can bring their receipts to the Customer Service desk. There, the customer can select a public or private school in Contra Costa County to which it would like funds be donated and a point will be earned for that school for each dollar the customer spends.
Sunvalley, Safeway and Macy’s will then give $1,000 to the top three schools earning the most points.
According to marketing and sponsorship director for the mall, Kim Trupiano, educators and schools play an important role in the community and this is how the mall and its stores can show their appreciation and help in preparations for the upcoming school year. It gets the customers involved and enables them to show their support for both the teachers and the students.
Once the promotion ends, on or about September 8, the winning Schools will be identified by a Center representative and then will be awarded Checks during an appreciation ceremony at the Sunvalley Shopping Center.
Most likely the shopping center, Macy’s and Safeway are working together with a local Print company to Print Flyers and other promotional material to generate enthusiasm among shoppers to give back to the community.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Checks Get a Free Quote for Print
