Concord celebrates summer with music and markets
There are many attractions which Concord residents can enjoy throughout the summer, and a perennial favorite is returning later this week.
The annual Concord Music & Market concert series is expected to attract a wide audience, and it is suitable for the entire family.
Similar to previous festivals, the 2025 concert will feature several local artists. Genres include classic rock, reggae, rhythm and blues, Latin music, and several tribute bands. Performers include Tom Rigney and Flambeau, The Sun Kings, Pop Rocks, Strange Days, and Annie Sampson.
The 2025 Concord Music & Market is being sponsored by businesses including Ashby Lumber, John Muir Health, Hilton Concord, and the Pacific Service Credit Union.
As it is also hosted by the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association (PCFMA), visitors have the opportunity to purchase goods produced in the Bay Area, sample local foods, and pick up a handful of souvenirs during their stay.
Event organizers employ various techniques to promote festival such as these. Flyer printing, online news posts, and email reminders are some of the ways in which attendees will be kept up to date.
The 2025 Concord Music & Market will commence on Thursday, June 5 between 6:30 and 8:00 PM at Todos Santos Plaza. It will continue every subsequent Thursday until September 25. This venue is free to attend, and those who are interested can visit the official City of Concord website.
