Concord celebrates holiday season with tree lighting festival

Concord will once again be ushering in the holidays with an annual tree lighting festival. Similar to past celebrations, a number of additional activities will be made available to anyone who wishes to attend.

Some of the on-site amenities that have already been confirmed include horse-drawn carriage rides, arts and crafts for children, a reindeer petting zoo, and a sing-along that the Mayor of Concord will join. There will likewise be live musical performances. As in previous years, these attractions are being held in Todos Santos Plaza.

Note that events such as this also provide local businesses with the opportunity to promote their goods and services. Distributing Promotional Products, handing out Flyers, and advertising discounts are some of the ways in which they can make their presence known.

Vendors that wish to participate are asked to fill out a registration form that can be obtained through the Concord Chamber of Commerce.

Dubbed Santa's Village and Market, this celebration is being held on Friday, December 5th. Festivities will commence at 5 PM, and conclude at 8:30 PM. The festival is located at Todos Santos Plaza, 2175 Willow Pass Road. While there is no admission fee, guests are still asked to arrive in advance. This is also wise for those who wish to avoid any congestion associated with off-site parking.
