As summer begins to wind down, residents throughout Concord are already searching for ways to enjoy the autumn in style. An upcoming event slated to be held in September provides a means to enjoy a day out with the family, and all are welcome to attend.
The 17th Annual Hood Park Reunion has become one of the most well-known events that ushers in the end of the summer months. This celebration provides a means for families to connect with one another, and to appreciate the weather commonly associated with early autumn.
Organizers have already confirmed several on-site activities. These include a car show, a barbecue for children, live music, and a potluck dinner. Attendees are asked to prepare their favorite dishes so that these can be shared with other guests.
Recurring events that have already established a solid community footprint will often turn to advertising techniques that worked well in the past. A handful of examples include professional flyer printing, asking local volunteers to hand out leaflets, and supervising social media pages that contain pertinent information.
The 17th Annual Hood Park Reunion will be held on Saturday, September 12th. Festivities begin at 9 AM, and are set to conclude at 4 PM. All activities are being hosted within Dave Brubeck Park, located at 3636 Concord Boulevard. There is no charge to attend, and tickets are not required.
