What's Happening in Concord, CA…

Concord promotes police-community cohesion this August

The City of Concord will once again be hosting its National Night Out this August. This activity is meant to strengthen the bonds between the local police force, and Concord residents.

This year's gathering provides plenty of opportunities to network with neighbors, to appreciate the steps that the police are taking to keep Concord safe, and to ask any questions related to local law enforcement services.

Similar to previous gatherings, the 2025 National Night Out will use various methods to advertise what awaits. Graphic design services, online social media reminders, and updates provided by the Concord Chamber of Commerce are a handful of examples.

While this event is primarily concerned with public safety, guests can still participate in numerous attractions. These include youth activities, cookouts, parades, and outdoor round table discussions.

Note that there is no central location associated with the National Night Out. The venues and activities will vary from neighborhood to neighborhood. However, all celebrations are being held on the evening of August 5th. Those who wish to participate will need to submit an application to the City of Concord. Information should contain the intended location, the estimated number of guests, and the date. Police officers can also attend upon request.

The registration form can be accessed via the official City of Concord online portal and must be submitted by 15 July. Additional details can also be obtained by calling 1 (925)-671-2489, or visiting offices located at 1950 Parkside Drive.
