The Bay Area KidFest is returning to downtown Concord for the 27th consecutive year.
Featured during the KidFest is live entertainment on the Main Stage, including the Cirque Adventure aerial and acrobatic circus, Olaf from Disney’s ‘Frozen’, Michaelangelo and Rapahel from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the BMX Bike Stunt Team.
Also at the KidFest will be sports and activities for children “disguised” as exploration and learning, as well as arts and crafts from exhibitors that will provide parents with new ideas and opportunities for their children. Community groups that are dedicated to families will also be at the event to discuss ways that families can contribute and be a part of a healthy community.
Kids can also take advantage of the 20 rides at the KidFest. These will include EuroBungy trampoline, pony rides, and a giant slide. A petting zoo and food court are among the other attractions.
The Kidfest will be held Memorial Day weekend – Saturday, May 28 through Sunday, May 30 – at the Mt. Diablo High School.
A special ceremony will be held on Memorial Day featuring the ROTC Jr. color guard, the Concord Blue Devils C Corps, and music honoring those who have served America.
Most likely the organizers of the event have put together Flyers with more information that will encourage families to attend and take advantage of all the activities and services.
