Exploration Camp is coming to the San Francisco Bay Area and is an experience that children between the ages of 11 and 18 in the Concord area will not want to miss.
This is an opportunity for both boys and girls to explore hobbies and educational interests, such as science, engineering, technology and, mathematics. Additionally, life skills including personal money and time management will be taught, as well as hobbies such as art, leatherwork, and graphics.
In addition, registered Boy Scouts who are involved in certain explorations such as first aid, game design, and crime prevention, will be able to use these towards meeting their Merit Badge requirements.
Full day session run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and kids can sign up for extended sessions from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm for an additional fee each to facilitate family scheduling needs.
Each participant gets lunch and a water bottle. The Exploration Camp is located at Youth Leadership Training Center in San Leandro, where there are trained and qualified adults to supervise the children and all the programs.
Exploration Camp begins today, June 29 and runs Monday through Friday until August 7 with sessions held very week.
