Plans are coming together for a new visitors' facilitiy in Concord, and the local tourism agency is excited.
The Experiential Visitor Center will be located in Salvio Pacheco Square, which is located next to Todos Santos Plaza, often considered to be the heart of the city. The center has been designed with Visit Concord's mission in mind; the agency is committed to sharing everything Concord has to offer with visitors and residents alike.
The center will cover 1,650 square feet, and will have a number of interactive displays. Pop-up shops will be part of the center, illustrating the community organizations and local businesses that operate in Concord. There will also be art installations, culinary demonstrations, and historic exhibits, including a station where visitors can listen to jazz. The genre is woven into the city's history, with celebrated jazz pianist Dave Brubeck a Concord native.
Conveniences and services will be at the heart of the center, which will provide details of transportation, sell tickets to attractions in the local area, and distribute local discounts. There will be an electronic kiosk listing upcoming events and other information.
Remote workspaces, a conference area, and charging stations are also planned, and the center will feature Wi-Fi connectivity. There is also a garden and patio at the center, and with more than 250 sunny days per year, visitors can enjoy being outdoors.
The center should open early in 2020. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for celebrations like this.
