Music legends to perform in Concord

Next week, a celebrated band will be making a stop in Concord as a part of its latest tour.

Tears For Fears has been around since 1981. A duo comprising Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal, the band releasing its most recent project just this year.

Some Tears For Fears hits include “Everybody Wants To Rule The World,” “Master Plan,” “The Working Hour,” “Famous Last Words,” “Ashes To Ashes,” and “Call Me Mellow.” Both Smith and Orzabal also have a solo career.

The Tipping Point Tour has a VIP bundle available for $275. This gets buyers access to special check-in, a lyric sheet, a commemorative ticket, early entry and merch shopping, a reserved ticket, and a special piece of merch featuring an artist-related graphic design. Original ticket purchases of any kind (this excludes resale) will be gifted a digital version of a special ticket, designed like a non-fungible token (NFT). Regular tickets run from $29.50 to $650, with some of the higher prices being resale. Bundles of four tickets, as well as tickets that include rental of lawn chairs, are also available. The concert at the Concord Pavilion will kick off at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 1. The opening act is the Scottish/American indie band Garbage.
