A magician with multiple skillsets will be bringing his show to a venue in Martinez, a city just a few miles from Concord, in mid-May.
Frisco Fred is a performer who has been all over the globe. He has appeared in shows such as The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, Fred has founded his own company, where several other performers have started their productions.
The California Magic Club will be the venue for this event. Tickets cover the main show, tableside tricks, and a meal consisting of multiple courses, along with beverages. The host, Gerry Griffin, asks attendees to wear “dressy casual attire.” If tickets are bought separately, or a special occasion is the reason for attendance, groups are asked to contact the venue in order to be seated in the same area, or have the event acknowledged onstage. Tickets cost $89, with options to buy up to 10 online. If more are required, buyers are asked to contact Griffin by email. Vegan and vegetarian options are available for the meal, which includes a dessert. Guests are asked to tip their waiters at least $10 per person in their group. Flyer printing is often used in promotion of magic shows.
The show will begin at 7:30 pm and run through 10:30 pm. Attendees should plan on arriving by 7:20 pm in order to park before the event.
