Officials from the Bay Area Family Fest have announced that they will be hosting the second annual Contra Costa Con. The event will celebrate Star Wars, give Star Wars fans a chance to discuss their favorite franchise, and introduce fans to members of the greater Star Wars Universe.
This con will feature panel discussions, Q&A, and more. At the moment, officials have confirmed that Jim Cummings – voice of Hondo Ohnaka among many others – will attend and be available to answer fans questions and sign autographs. Officials have also said that more guests will be announced as the event gets closer, and attendees should pay attention to the event website for additional information.
There will also be a variety of costuming groups on hand. Event attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their own costumes.
A variety of local businesses and vendors will be on hand. As such, event attendees will have a chance to check out businesses in their area, buy toys and collectibles, and pick up other Promotional Products.
The event is on Sunday, March 24, and runs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. It is being held at the Hilton Concord (1970 Diamond Blvd., Concord, California).
Tickets for the event are $12. Children under 9 are free. Advance tickets can be purchased and come with $2 in Toy Bucks that can be used at the event.
