Concord will soon be home to a new restaurant that will feature the atmosphere and flavors of a Chicago-style pizzeria.
‘Mi π Pizza’, pronounced ‘My Pie Pizza’, will serve signature deep-dish Chicago pizza, along with appetizers, salads, and a full bar with beverages unique to the Chicago area. The restaurant is hoping to bring the full experience of eating in a Chicago pizzeria without having to spend money on the air fare, and focus the experience in its four signature pizza crusts.
There will be both indoor and outdoor dining on the patio that overlooks Todos Santos Park as well as entertainment led every night by the staff, leading a group sing-a-long of ‘That’s Amore!’
Math teachers from the Concord schools have also been recruited to create worksheets and math games that families can enjoy while they are waiting for their food and during their meal.
The owners are planning to open the restaurant in early 2015. It will be open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner. Its slogan is “WE LOVE PIZZA 3.14 X MORE”.
