Concord chamber to host networking day for women

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be hosting another monthly installment of its Women’s Networking Group luncheon next month.

This event is meant to give women in business a chance to network with each other, as well as to learn about important topics happening in the Concord area.

The feature of March’s lunch will be human sex trafficking. The event will feature two speakers: Andrea Taylor (Certified Life Coach) and Louise Reeves (Alameda County District Attorney’s Office), who will speak about this issue. This event is meant to give attendees the tools to better understand the issue, how to recognize the Signs, and what can be done to stop it.

The event will feature open networking, lunch, and a program. Attendees may want to bring Business Cards and be prepared to get to know other local business leaders.

The event itself will take place on Thursday, March 9, beginning at 11:30 am. It is being held at the Hilton Concord, 1970 Diamond Blvd., in Concord. The price is $60 for early registration, and this can be completed via the Chamber’s website.

This is one of many networking events offered by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, which has numerous subgroups, events, and opportunities to get more involved in the local business community.
