Barbecue and music combine for memorable Concord evening

Food and music lovers are in for a night to remember in Concord, as an acapella show will pair up with a serving of ribs to create a fun atmosphere.

The Ribs and Acapella event is slated to start in just over a month, and Concord residents are invited to indulge in the harmony and flavorful food options with friends and family. The acapella performance will be provided by the Carondelet High School’s award-winning chorus as it prepares to compete in the international competition hosted in Columbus, Ohio.

The meal will be centered on ribs, cornbread, and salad before transitioning into a dessert. Guests will be treated to live barbershop music throughout the meal. The goal of the concert and dinner is to help the high school’s chorus raise funds for the upcoming competition and travel costs. Flyer printing is an effective way to raise awareness of such fundraisers and increase attendance.

A no-host bar will be available. Silent and live auctions will offer opportunities for registered guests to take home unique possessions and items. Vegan food options will be available at no extra charge.

The concert and dinner will be held at Carondelet High School on Saturday, November 9, from 4:30 PM until 9:30 PM. General admission tickets are available via Eventbrite, priced at $65 per person.
