Art lesson to take place with twist

A fun take on a relaxing art class will be taking place in early October, giving Concord residents a chance to learn and unwind.

Paint Nite: The Original Paint and Sip Party is an activity put on by Paintnite.com, where people can come together to create a unique painting while enjoying a drink and each other’s company. This particular evening will see attendees create a forest scene with blues, purples, and black in the main color scheme.

Although this event is limited to those who are at least 21 years of age, it is a friendly environment with a skilled instructor, giving artists of all skill levels a fair chance. People are encouraged to attend with friends, family, co-workers, a date, or by themselves. The instructor will guide each participant through all the steps. Supplies for the event can be purchased through the Yay Maker website.

The venue for the class is Firehouse Brew & Grill. The bar offers a variety of food as well, such as burgers, salads, fries, chicken, pastas, and cheesecake. Wines and beers are among the drink options. A full menu is available on the venue’s website.

Tickets for this lesson cost buyers $35 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Flyer printing is often used when promoting classes like this one. The activity will kick off at 7:00 pm on October 6, at the Martinez location of Firehouse Brew & Grill.
