It is coming to the time of year that many animal rescues refer to as “kitten season,” and a West Los Angeles venue will be providing potential pet foster parents with skills they can use to care for cats in need.
The team at LA Animal Services count on the generosity of volunteers who give their time, and the shelter has scheduled an installment of its Bottle Baby Foster orientation for West Los Angeles. The organization has stressed an urgent need for foster homes for the animals in its care, as fostering helps make room for more.
The activity will be focused on feeding kittens and puppies that are too young for solid food. The activity runs for two hours, and anyone who would like to participate will need to sign up in advance. If there are any kittens or puppies in the shelter, a demonstration will be included.
Many not-for-profit groups and organizations count on the assistance of their volunteers to help deliver programming and provide other support. Presenting them with custom designed corporate gifts, available from local Print shops, provides a way to offer them a tip of the hat.
LA Animal Services West Los Angeles, which is located at 11361 West Pico Boulevard, will offer this workshop on Sunday, April 13. It will start at 10:00 am.
