West Los Angeles residents who are looking for a new best friend are invited to drop by a special event being run by LA Animal Services.
The organization’s shelters are filling up, and it wants to help each of its charges find a loving forever home. Its Bye Bye July Adoption weekend has been planned to encourage the public to add a new pet to their family.
Throughout the weekend, there will be lowered adoption fees on puppies and kittens as well as adult cats and dogs. Those interested can stop by any one of the six shelters run by the organization, and each companion animal will be spayed or neutered and will have their license, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. Vouchers will also be provided for vet care, and in the case of dogs, one for free obedience training.
Rescue and rehoming groups give both wild and companion animals in need a helping hand, and they often count on the generous support of the public to perform their work. A flyer printing company can be a helpful partner in spreading the word about locally based events, including fundraisers.
LA Animal Services has scheduled its Bye Bye July Adoption Weekend for the end of this week, on July 26 and 27. Its West Los Angeles shelter is at 11361 West Pico Blvd.
