While many nurses find providing traditional bedside care to be a rewarding career, a West Los Angeles area activity will provide an opportunity to learn about some lesser-known opportunities that exist in the field.
The Beyond the Bedside workshop will introduce its participants to a variety of non-traditional options in the healthcare field. This will be the 16th year the forum has taken place, and nursing students, professionals, and faculty members are all encouraged to attend.
The day will open with a light breakfast mixer, and at least six presenters will address the group about their area of expertise. There will be an assortment of informational Posters on display to view during the mid-morning and luncheon breaks.
All delegates will be encouraged to explore specialized nursing fields that may align with their personal interests and skillset. They will learn how to make the most of their experience and education. Attendees may qualify for up to six CEU (continuous education unit) credits from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Symposiums, forums, and other gatherings focused on learning may require specialized printing services. These can be sourced from a Print professional, and can include everything from Business Cards to custom designed awards.
The 16th annual Nursing Forum will be helping area nurses move forward in their careers next Tuesday, April 8. California State University in Los Angeles is set to serve as the venue for the event.
