The West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce – one of the largest business organizations in West Los Angeles, California – has announced that they will be hosting an upcoming business lunch that will allow local business leaders the chance to meet new contacts and get their name further into the community.
These networking lunches are explicitly designed to encourage a series of networking opportunities. The event begins open networking, allowing attendees to meet each other without any additional guidance or input from staff or volunteers. From there, event attendees will introduce themselves to the entire audience. As such, event attendees are encouraged to perfect their elevator pitch and come ready to sell their business – and themselves.
A guest speaker – to be announced at a later date – will speak next, providing useful, educational information to attendees. This will be followed by a peer mentorship session.
As is common for any networking event, attendees should bring plenty of Business Cards and come ready to follow up with anyone with whom they exchange details.
The event takes place on Tuesday, July 16, and runs from noon – 1:30 pm. It will take place at the Delphi Greek Restaurant and Bar, 1383 Westwood Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90024. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required. Attendees will have to pay for their own lunch.
