Asians in Advertising, a local business organization, will be hosting its “Breaking Barriers” 2024 summit in just over a week.
This event is designed to help Asian Americans overcome common challenges and realize their full potential.
Event organizers have noted that the event will have multiple sessions, a keynote address, and plenty of opportunities to network. Sessions deal with a variety of topics, including how people can realize their personal value, harnessing mentorship, breaking standard conventions, and redefining one’s future. The keynote speaker will be Bernice Chao, the President of Asians in Advertising. Chao will discuss her experiences in the advertising world, as well as the need to champion diversity in today’s business atmosphere.
The meals, socialization and panels will all provide attendees with the opportunity to meet new business contacts, so individuals may wish to bring Business Cards. Organizers have emphasized that this summit is more than an event and are advertising Breaking Barriers as a movement and a commitment to a more diverse and welcoming community.
This event is on Friday, May 3 and runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, including all meals and networking. Registration costs between $45 and $200, depending on the level of ticket purchased. The event is at 12101 Bluff Creek Dr in Los Angeles, just a few minutes’ drive from West Los Angeles.
