Special event in Show Low starts the holidays

A special event is coming to Show Low that will help bring the holiday spirit to the city.

The Festival of Trees is an annual event that aims to embody the magic of the holidays. Attendees can enjoy seasonal entertainment, admire gorgeously decorated trees, and enjoy time with friends and family. The event is ticketed, with organizers urging people to make reservations as soon as possible.

Admission includes a meal, which is still being planned and will be announced later. It also comes with $20 worth of raffle tickets that give participants a chance to win one of the decorated Christmas trees, which comes with gifts underneath worth hundreds of dollars. In addition, it includes a chance to win wreaths, and can be used to enter the 50/50 drawing. A dessert auction and silent auction are also planned.

It is possible for local organizations and individuals to sponsor a tree. The Festival of Trees is scheduled for Saturday, November 22 at the Show Low Elks Lodge, located at 801 East Whipple Street. The doors open at 4.00 pm, and the fun starts at 5.00 pm.
