A powerful tribute to the events of 9/11 is in the works in Trussville, bringing motorcycle owners from across the area together to raise money for a good cause.
The 9/11 Poker Run, presented by Riders Harley-Davidson, is set to take off in a few weeks, offering area motorcycle enthusiasts the chance to participate in a friendly competition while raising money to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The funds raised will provide financial support to the nation’s heroes, including first responders and military veterans.
The run will make five stops, and participants will choose a card at each location to build out their poker hand. Stops include Riders H-D in Trussville, T-Town H-D in Cottondale, Heart of Dixie H-D in Pelham, Steele Hall Brewing in Trussville, and Tannehill Leather Company in McCalla. Flyer printing is an effective way to promote such events in the local community by placing the adverts in public spaces to generate impressions.
Riders must stop at all five stops to build and turn in their hand to win a prize. Participants will need to acquire a Poker Booklet with a $20 donation. The run will proceed rain or shine.
The ride will embark from 4750 Norrell Drive in Trussville on Saturday, September 6th, at 11:00 AM. Registration is available online to all interested parties.
