Parents in Trussville who want to keep their little ones busy this summer will be feeling lucky, as a creative workshop for children is set to open nearby.
Yadira’s Creative Corner: A Day of Creativity & Fun for Young Makers, which is being presented by Spitters Open Mic Poetry, has opened enrollment to allow parents to get their children signed up. The event is being billed as a space where little hands can create big and lasting memories. Participants can expect a fun afternoon that promotes imagination and creative pursuits.
Children will have ample opportunity to participate in activities, games, and creative play at the event. Activities will include painting, creating and decorating a seed project, coloring, and playing with bubbles. Organizers can promote community events like this with flyer and poster printing, with these colorful documents catching attention and sharing the relevant details about the event.
Take-home projects will also be available to ensure that the fun goes on beyond the host site. Children can enjoy light refreshments to ensure a comfortable visit. All of the necessary supplies will be provided with the cost of enrollment.
The event will be held at 2443 Old Springville Road, Suite 201, in nearby Birmingham. It runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8th. Enrollment is open online for $17.85 per student.
