CrossFit workout session honors hero in Trussville

Trussville exercise enthusiasts and residents will gather next month to improve their fitness while honoring the memory of a local hero through a Workout of the Day.

The Albert Tinney IV Hero WOD, organized by area resident Grace Compton, will kick off soon, providing a space for loved ones, family members, and fitness enthusiasts to congregate, promote health, and bring the community together in Tinney’s honor. The event will feature a specific workout designed to be challenging and push each participant to grow mentally and physically.

Interested parties of all ages and experience levels are welcome to register and participate in the workout. Individuals who do not feel comfortable doing the workout can also support the cause by purchasing a commemorative t-shirt or entering the event’s raffle. Flyer printing is an effective way to spread awareness of such fundraisers and events around the community and increase attendance at the event.

Individuals planning to participate in the exercise challenge will want to arrive early to ensure time to get checked in, stretch, and warm up. Registered participants with additional questions or seeking more information can contact Grace Compton.

The workout session will be held at CrossFit Trussville on Saturday, June 28th, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Raffle entry is $7, T-Shirts cost $15, and workout participation is $20 per person online.
