Talent show to help children's theater arts

The 3rd Annual Rocket City’s Got Talent Fundraiser will showcase the city’s diverse talent while raising money for theater arts access for children and their families.

The talent show will benefit the Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater and Academy (FPCTA), which provides over 21,000 children with equitable theater arts access and enriches their lives through education, outreach programs, and theater productions. Its mission is to provide low-to-moderate income children and their families with free or reduced fee options for various arts programming.

The fundraiser will feature a variety of artists performing for an audience of theater supporters, business professionals, and community leaders. The night will begin with a silent auction of items such as jewelry, artwork, private dinners, and luxury trips. Guests will also enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and opening acts before the actual show begins. Parents can take advantage of the new Kids Experience, which allows parents to drop off their children with professional educators for their own night of kid-friendly activities.

Fundraising events such as this often include table place cards and Invitations for special guests, so organizers may want to visit Stationery printers in their area to prepare.

The Rocket City’s Got Talent Fundraiser is scheduled for April 1, beginning at 6:00 pm. It will take place at the Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment, located at 2211 Seminole Drive SW, Huntsville. Tickets are $75.
