The WhistleStop BBQ Festival at MidCity is returning this October after a brief hiatus. This event is being revitalized with the support of Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3).
The festival will not only provide an array of family-friendly activities, but it will also serve as a major fundraiser for the EarlyWorks Children's Museum.
Tickets are available for purchase, with prices increasing at the entrance on the day of the event. A weekend pass is also available, providing access to both event days. Children aged 12 and younger can attend for free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their folding chairs or blankets. Attendees should also note that Parking will be free.
One of the festival’s highlights will be the music stage where visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live music throughout the event.
The festival will also feature an event aspect titled People’s Choice Tasting. This will be a unique opportunity for festival-goers to sample and vote on pulled pork and wings prepared by the competition teams. The wings tasting will be held on Friday between 6 pm and 7:30 pm, and the pulled pork tasting will be held on Saturday between 2 pm and 4 pm.
Flyer printing can be used to let individuals in the community know what festivals like this one have to offer.
The festival is scheduled for October 18 from 4 pm to 11 pm and October 19 from 11 am to 11 pm at 1030 Mid City Drive, Huntsville, Alabama.
