Under the guidance of Rick Daidone, who is the establishment’s new General Manager, Keegan’s will now be known as Big Spring Tavern. Along with the new name comes a new business model that concentrates on serving food. This means that there will be a meat-and-three set up for lunch and casual fine dining for dinner. When businesses change their business models in such a manner, they tend to change their Logo Design as well.
The lunch menu will feature three meat options such as hamburger steak served with gravy and onions, meatloaf, baked chicken, fried pork chops, and beef tips depending on the day. The side options include black-eyed peas, mashed potatoes, okra, and tomato-cucumber salad. The meat-and-three option will go for $10.95 while a four vegetable plate is available for $9.95.
When asked about the change, Daidone said:
“We’re trying to create something that at lunchtime people here in these office buildings can come in and get out in 30 minutes. A quick steam table deal. If they want to have something else, they can, but try to have some we can get out to them in less than 10 minutes.”
Keegan’s Public House was known for hosting live music shows, and Big Spring Tavern will continue to do this.
