Huntsville train ride to offer North Pole experience

Huntsville will be able to experience what a ride through the North Pole might be like when the Christmas-themed North Star Limited Train opens its doors next month.

The event will be hosted by North Alabama Railroad Museum, a historic train museum that offers the public daily tours of its depot, facilities, and railroad equipment. The museum often hosts themed train events according to different holidays and special occasions, such as December’s winter wonderland train ride.

The ride will offer families a cozy 45-minue adventure under the stars. Santa will be on board to give each child a personalized meet-and-greet where the child can tell Santa what he or she would like for Christmas. Every child will also receive a Christmas gift from Santa before the ride ends. Snacks will be waiting for all passengers at the end of the journey. Children are encouraged and welcomed to come decked out in festive pajamas.

Themed events like this will often be advertised on school and library bulletin boards in the form of Posters. Organizers can Print such Posters at local Print shops that offer poster posting services.

The holiday train ride is scheduled for Friday, December 2, with rides departing at 5:45 pm and 7:45 pm. The location will be 694 Chase Road, Huntsville. Per-person tickets are $35, and roomette tickets are $50.
