Next month, DisruptHR will host the DisruptHR HSV 2023 forum in Huntsville and across North Alabama for HR professionals interested in learning new ways to approach human resources.
DisruptHR first began in August of 2018 and was a roaring success that drew crowds of over 150 business leaders. The main purpose of DisruptHR is to showcase new and innovative ways to consider potential employees, future talent, and current workers. The organization is founded on the belief that all business leaders, including HR personnel, must be willing to take risks, or in other words, disrupt the status quo.
The forum is described as drawing on the essence of Ted Talks combined with a splash of the Ignite events. There will be 10-minute presentations by local HR professionals, who will each share different ways to improve approaches to finding, hiring, and engaging workplace talent. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres for food, and a cash bar will be set up for those aged 21 and up.
Networking typically features prominently at events like this, which may encourage attendees of such events to update their supply of Business Cards to distribute.
The HR forum is scheduled for August 15 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It will be held at the US Space and Rocket Center (National Geographic Theater), which is located at 1 Tranquility Base. Admission is $25.
