Huntsville gala to celebrate North Alabama women engineers

This June, the NAL SWE Year-End Celebration will take place in Huntsville to celebrate the fiscal year’s accomplishments of the NAL SWE members.

The NAL SWE stands for the North Alabama section of the Society of Women Engineers. The organization brings together female professionals in North Alabama to empower women working in the fields of technology, engineering, and leadership. The Year-End Celebration serves as an opportunity to showcase the accomplishments of these professionals, as well as invite new members into the fold.

The gala is open to the public, not just members of the NAL SWE, and will feature a night of revelry and fellowship. FY24 President, Shela Joyce, will present a talk reviewing the year’s accomplishments and acknowledging exemplary members. There will also be networking opportunities, and photographers will be on hand offering professional headshots. The venue will have food and beverage options available for purchase.

Professional galas that offer networking opportunities will often drive attendees to consider updating their supply of Business Cards to hand out at the event.

The Year-End Celebration is scheduled for June 20 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at Stovehouse: The Canteen, which is located at 3414 Governors Drive, Southwest Huntsville. General admission is free, while headshots will cost $15 in advance for non-members. Day-of headshot registration will be $20.
