Huntsville festival to showcase wholesome family fun

Huntsville families should note that next month, the 2nd Annual Good Music & Arts Festival will be held to benefit the area’s non-profits and civic organizations.

Organized by the non-profit No More Dirty, Inc., the Good Music & Arts Festival is a family-friendly festival that advocates for inspiring music, creative expressions, and positive entertainment. It supports artists, vendors, and bands that embody this positivity and community togetherness. The music and artists featured are from the United Federation of Artistic Minds organization, which promotes the arts and diversity in the community.

Attendees will enjoy performances from talented singers such as Denise Tichenor-Davis, and comedians such as Spike Davis, and host Fred Whitlow II. There will be over 20 live musical artists on stage, as well as spoken word presenters and other artistic acts. There will also be various booths set up to introduce attendees to the many civic organizations, community agencies, youth and family services, and resource groups that actively work in the Huntsville community.

Events that benefit community outreach will often include sponsors to help support the event through donations, and in return the sponsors will have their businesses advertised on Banners created using local banner printing services.

The free community festival is slated for October 2 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will take place at Big Spring Park on Church Street SW, Huntsville.
