Next month, the Taste of Huntsville will return for its 46th year to showcase local restaurants while also benefiting two local charities.
The Huntsville-Madison County Hospitality Association (HMCHA) will host the festival to provide a space for the community to gather in fellowship and taste great food and beverages from over 50 restaurants around the Huntsville area. The participating food and drink vendors will not only be able to showcase their products but will also have the chance to win awards in food presentation and taste.
The HMCHA is working together with local businesses and community supporters to coordinate the charitable aspect of the festival, which is to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley and the Huntsville Community Drumline. The Taste of Huntsville Silent Auction will be one of the ways the festival will raise funds for the charities, so organizers encourage interested businesses to consider donating Corporate Gifts to be used in the auction. For more information, businesses can email tasteofhsv@gmail.com.
Taste of Huntsville 2022 is slated for January 25 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. It will take place at the Von Braun Center South Hall, located at 700 Monroe Street Southwest. Individual tickets are priced at $35, while a sponsoring table of ten will be $500, which can be purchased on the organizer’s website.
