Fundraiser celebrates Irish culture

The 17th annual ‘An Irish Evening’ is taking place in Huntsville this March. It is a fundraising event for United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and Tennessee Client Services.

Guests will enjoy Irish-themed food and drink samples, live music from Bourbon and Shamrocks, and performances from the Fitness Arts Center Irish Step Dancers. Vendors are expected to be on hand to sell a variety of Celtic-related products like handmade jewelry, T-Shirts, and accessories.

The kids' area will keep the younger members of the family busy, with games hosted by the Irish Society of North Alabama. In addition, there will be a DJ, photo booth, and a silent auction in which guests can get their hands on restaurant gift cards, art, golf games, and a ski package.

United Cerebral Palsy offers services such as a rehabilitation clinic and children's therapy. Organizers are still looking for sponsors to support the cause. Those who choose to sponsor the event will likely be recognized on Signs or Banners displayed at the event. These items can be obtained from Huntsville Print companies.

‘An Irish Evening’ will be held at the Depot Roundhouse on March 6 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets are $25 and children aged 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. To find out how to become a sponsor or for more information on planned activities, contact Tracy Cieniewicz at 256-859-4900.
