Downtown event kicks of college football season

The Downtown Tail Gate Games Season Kick-Off event is taking place in Huntsville next month for three days.

The first night is set to feature viewing of the South Carolina vs. North Carolina game on the big screen on the Square. Over the next two days, there will be 20 or more games to play for free. Fans can also participate in the sidewalk chalk art display by drawing their favorite team's logo.

One of the most anticipated activities that will be happening will be the Human Fooseball tournament. Participation is by donation and the game will be played by eight-player teams. Each game is a quarter of an hour long and is a double elimination bracket, where the team with the most points wins.

Huntsville football fans are sure to flock downtown to take part in these various activities. Organizers may contact local printing companies to invest in services such as flyer and poster printing to advertise throughout the city.

The Downtown Tail Gate Games will take place in downtown Huntsville from September 3 to 5 from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm each day. The football game will be screened on September 3 beginning at 6:00 pm. The Human Fooseball tournament is set to take place at Big Spring Park East on September 5 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Visit the Downtown Huntsville website for more information.
