The Huntsville Association of Technical Societies (HATS) will host its 16th Annual Professional of the Year Awards Dinner in October to honor the “best of the best” of all its associated organizations’ members.
Founded in 1969, the non-profit organization HATS aims to connect the Huntsville non-profit, technical, and professional societies. Its mission is to coordinate the educational, professional, and civic activities of all the member organizations and promote the goals they share. The Professional of the Year Awards Dinner will give an opportunity for the societies to recognize the contributions their members have made to the organization and to the community.
The awards dinner will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:30 pm where guests can mix and mingle, providing an ideal atmosphere for networking and exchanging Business Cards. Afterwards, guests will enjoy dinner and presentations from speakers. The society awards and HATS awards will be given out during this time as well.
The even is scheduled for Thursday, October 14, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The hosting venue will be the Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Grand Hall, located at 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue Southwest, Huntsville.
Tickets are $60 and include entry to the networking reception and cash bar, as well as a seat at the awards dinner. For more information on the event, visit the HATS website.
