Annual event brings NASA to downtown Huntsville

The annual ‘NASA on the Square event’ is taking place in downtown Huntsville, getting underway in just over a week.

It is an open house event for the Marshall Space Flight Center and is presented in association with Downtown Huntsville, Inc.

There are set to be NASA exhibits, guest speakers, and food trucks. Musicians from the Marshall Center will entertain the crowds. Beer and other drinks will also be available for purchase.

In addition, there will be plenty of family friendly activities and games, free NASA swag like stickers, and Posters and vendors representing local small businesses and artisans.

In past years, exhibits at this event have included model rockets and engines. Guest speakers have included former astronauts, Huntsville city officials, and the Marshall Space Flight Center's director.

This event is very popular in the city and attracts visitors of all ages. It is very likely that organizers will be investing in advertising materials from Huntsville Stationery printers, such as Flyers to remind everyone in the community know about this free annual event.

NASA on the Square will take place at the Madison County Courthouse on June 20 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Admission is free. To find out the latest information about this popular upcoming event, visit the Facebook event page or contact Kim Newton of the Marshall Space Flight Center at 256-653-5173.
