Britpop-era band Dodgy is due to play a gig in Newport, plus support, at the beginning of December.
This outfit was put together in Hounslow in 1990 by Nigel Clark, Mathew Priest and Andy Miller, who perform vocals and bass, drums and guitar respectively.
They have undergone various line-up changes, not to mention two incarnations, since beginning.
Dodgy's first seven years saw the band sell more than one million records globally. They produced three LPs, out of which came 12 Top 40 singles. These included ' In A Room', 'Staying Out for the Summer', and big hit 'Good Enough'.
Their 2012 reunion LP 'Stand Upright in a Cool Place' was critically acclaimed, and took 15 years to emerge following the double platinum 'Free Peace Sweet'.
'What Are We Fighting For' materialised in 2017 on the Cherry Records label to excellent reviews. Indeed, the band themselves believe that it is their best work.
Apart from gigs and touring, Dodgy has appeared at Bestival, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival and Kendal Calling. The support on this occasion is provided by The 355s and The Rogues.
Tickets cost £20.30 inclusive of a transaction fee. Banner printing is a useful form of promotion for anyone involved in the production of a concert or musical event.
Dodgy's gig has a start time of 7.30 pm on Saturday, 7 December at Corn Exchange, Newport.
