A tribute show dedicated to a London band known for their psychedelic brand of rock music is arriving at a major events venue in Newport this autumn.
Pink Floyd fanatics in Newport won’t want to miss an upcoming event in 2026. The highly praised theatre show “This Is Floyd” is coming to the city to celebrate the very best of the band’s songbook as part of a tour called “Through the Years”.
Prestigious entertainment venues often include their official Logo Design on promotional materials they order to showcase events like Posters and Flyers.
To date, the show has accrued thousands of loyal followers and clocked up an abundance of five-star reviews from critics. A writer for Brighton Magazine called it the best Pink Floyd show they had seen in a quarter of a century.
Fans booking seats for the show can expect to hear skilled musicians play definitive renditions of some of the band’s most iconic numbers including “High Hopes” and “Echoes”. As well as a set list loaded with much-loved songs, the concert will feature other hallmarks of a live performance from Pink Floyd like a circular video screen, laser effects and a bespoke light show.
This Is Floyd will now be live on stage at the ICC Wales Theatre on Saturday, September 19. Tickets are available from £29 per person and the venue is based at Coldra Woods in Newport.
