Video firm from Cardiff hires new staff

A company that produces videos in Cardiff has announced that it has appointed three new members of staff, as it seeks to consolidate the growth it has recently enjoyed.

Rockadove has brought in an artist to work on motion graphics, a video editor and a camera operator. The latter is Simon Bartlett, who has spent more than five years working freelance prior to joining Rockadove. His previous credits include editing work for Cardiff City FC, the BBC and British Airways.

He is set to be the primary camera operator on films produced for a range of different clients – such as Cardiff University, Invacare and Community Housing Cymru. The other new appointments at Rockadove are Southampton-born graphics artist Paul Marke and Samuel Lloyd, who is a recent graduate of Cardiff University and will serve as junior video editor.

In addition to this, an existing staff member, Alun Morgan, has been given a promotion and is now post-production head. Speaking to Business News Wales, he said:

“I have learnt so much working at Rockadove and my skillset has continued to develop. It’s great that my hard work and dedication has been recognised. I’m looking forward to helping the team progress and continuing to grow Rockadove further.”
