The Feast On independent festival of food that encompasses global cuisines will take place over a three-day period in Cardiff at the end of May.
It represents a chance to showcase the contribution of independent food producers, traders and restauranteurs. There is a comprehensive itinerary that covers all aspects of the industry with much that should appeal to people of all ages.
This includes live cooking demonstrations, a cookery school, pop-up restaurants and talks by local chefs, highlighting techniques, time-saving tips and creative ideas. There will also be a Producer and Retail Marquee, displaying a selection of local artisanal products such as homemade chopping boards for purchase.
The many onsite bars offer a wide array of drinks including cocktails, local craft beers and spirits. It also affords an opportunity to participate in wine tasting sessions led by experts, incorporating the art of pairing wine with food.
Live music performances from local bands, together with interactive shows, will take place across the festival. There will also be children's entertainment including creative arts and crafts, as well as funfair rides and play areas.
