UK acoustic artist to play Cardiff

A UK singer-songwriter and celebrated guitarist is set to take the stage in Cardiff.

Laidback Surrey musician Newton Faulkner has announced he will be playing the Welsh capital later on this year. The concert will take place at the Cardiff music and arts hub Tramshed, a venue based in a building with Grade II listed status that once served the west side of the city as a tram depot.

Popular venues hosting live music performances can sometimes use flyer printing services to design branded leaflets advertising upcoming events to member of the community.

Fans attending the upcoming concert will have the chance to hear Faulkner hits like “I Need Something”, “Gone in the Morning”, “Up Up and Away”, and “Dream Catch Me”.

Once known as “the British Jack Johnson”, Faulkner rose to fame singing heartfelt self-penned tracks and playing the acoustic guitar. With five album releases under his belt, the singer-songwriter has embraced an eclectic range of musical styles. His latest offering released through BMG, entitled “Human Love”, features chanted choruses, rapid drumming and African-style percussion.

Until recently, Falkner was well-known for his dreadlock hairstyle, a look he had sported since age 15. Now 30, he can be seen cutting them off in a music video for his single “Get Free”.

Newton Faulkner will play Tramshed on Clare Road in Cardiff at 7pm on October 23.
