A five-year lease on an office solution in Cardiff’s Cambrian Buildings has been taken out by the company, which specialises in home-based hearing tests and digital hearing aids. The business has moved out of less spacious accommodation in Cowbridge Street East. Stationery printers can be handy for ambitious firms, especially when expansion is on the cards.
Russell Borland is the managing director at Hearfocus. He appreciates the design of the Cambrian Buildings, and told Business Live:
“If things go according to plan, we expect to be asking Knight Frank to find us extra office space in Cambrian Buildings by next summer.”
The business has grown significantly recently, with 45 people now on the payroll. Borland is planning to recruit more staff. The transaction has provided the enterprise with nearly 5000 square feet of space. Within the building, a single portion of 2000 square feet is yet to be let. Cardiff’s Fletcher Morgan is involved in the marketing of Cambrian Buildings.
Knight Frank represented Longmead Capital in the Hearfocus deal. The property consultancy was approached by Hearfocus during the course of the lockdown. Knight Frank’s Mark Sutton explained that the office space in question had benefited from an upgrade.
The Cambrian Buildings were constructed during the 1880s. Situated in West Bute Street, the structure has been listed as Grade II.
