This bar will carry the name Elevens Bar and Grill, which is the number of the shirt that Bale wears when playing for both Madrid and his country, and the launch will see him become the latest top-level player to make an investment outside of the game.
These include the likes of former Manchester United stars Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, who have set up the Café Football outlet to great success. Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Bale said that his bar would offer residents of Cardiff something really different.
He also stated that he had long held the ambition to own a bar that would offer dedicated sports coverage, alongside meals and drinks, with Cardiff being the ideal setting for this:
“There isn’t a venue quite like this, where you can go to watch live sport on Ultra HD 4K TVs with amazing food and drink, all within a modern, relaxed and family-friendly environment.”
It is due to launch by the summer of this year and when it does, places that can provide promotional Drinkware may be used to help publicise it among the local populace.Get a Free Quote for Drinkware Get a Free Quote for Plans
