Finance firm to create 100 jobs in Cardiff

A consumer finance business has Plans to generate 100 Cardiff-based jobs.

Allium Lending Group has started to recruit 100 workers to help it deliver customer finance solutions from Cardiff. Business card printing can be useful for organisations engaged in expansion.

Allium currently has a London office and will seek to maintain this presence. By May, it should have its Cardiff operation up and running. A director of the company, Julian Nutley, told Wales Online:

“We did consider a number of other locations, but Cardiff ticked all the right Boxes in terms of the skills we needed, quality of life, but benefiting from being close to London.”

Nutley stressed the diversity of the positions that will be filled. The posts under discussion will include administrators, underwriters and customer service operatives.

The economic development unit at Cardiff Council played a part in tempting Allium to choose the city. Office space adjacent to the city centre has been selected, while institutional investment has been forthcoming.

Before 2019 comes to a close, Allium wants a loan book worth £250 million. However, the enterprise aspires to a £750 million loan book within the next few years.

Allium has taken an interest in the Green Deal initiative. The hope is that the home improvement policy, which focused on energy efficiency, can be given a new lease of life.
