The successful West End play 'Ghost Stories' produced by Simon Friend Entertainment is on a UK tour and is due to arrive in Cardiff at the end of July.
This is the story of Professor Goodman, a sceptic, who sets out to disprove the paranormal and begins an investigation into a series of supposed hauntings. These are recalled by a teenage boy, a night-watchman, and an expectant father - but the professor soon discovers that he is at the boundaries of reason and at a loss for explanations.
This Olivier Award-nominated play is filled with surprises that keep audiences on edge, 2019 was the last time it was seen in the UK, when it ran in the West End for two years, later breaking box office records with sold-out productions around the globe. Indeed, it was made into a successful movie in 2018 that starred Martin Freeman and Paul Whitehouse.
'Ghost Stories’ was written and created by Jeremy Dyson, of The League of Gentlemen fame, and actor/ director Andy Nyman who co-created Derren Brown's television shows. Both have extensive lists of television, film, and theatre credits to their names.
Ticket prices range from £17.50 to £57.50 with a 15-age specification. Graphic design makes a significant contribution when it comes to theatrical productions.
'Ghost Stories' will run from Tuesday 29th July to Saturday 2nd August at the Donald Gordon Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
