Cardiff to welcome US rockers

A renowned American band is bound for the Welsh capital as part of a new tour.

Blondie’s upcoming Against the Odds UK Arena Tour 2021 is due to make a stop in Cardiff for a one-night show. Live music venues like arenas, clubs, stadiums and theatres sometimes use flyer printing services to advertise their upcoming shows to members of the public and encourage attendance.

The band will be fronted by iconic singer Debbie Harry, who formed the famous rock band along with guitarist Chris Stein in New York during the 1970s.

Since those early days, Blondie has kept playing its unique fusion of rock, punk, new wave, and power pop to music fans all around the world, impressing audiences and critics alike. Here in the UK and over in Australia, the band achieved chart success from early albums like “Parallel Lines” and “Eat to the Beat”.

Welsh ticket buyers attending the upcoming show in Cardiff will get a chance to hear a classic track list featuring hits like “Hanging on the Telephone”, “Sunday Girl”, “Heart of Glass”, “One Way or Another” and “Call Me”.

Blondie will perform at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff on Mary Ann Street on Tuesday, November 16, with the doors opening at 7:00 pm. The band will be supported on the night by Scottish/American rock outfit Garbage.
