The raconteur and media personality, Gyles Brandreth, is on tour with his one-man show 'Can't Stop Talking!' and he is due to make an appearance in Cardiff early in September.
A writer, podcaster, occasional actor and ex-MP, Brandreth has been a regular feature on the airwaves for many years. This includes four decades on BBC Radio 4’s 'Just A Minute' and more recently four years on Channel 4’s 'Celebrity Gogglebox'.
With TV credits such as 'QI', 'Countdown' and 'Have I Got News For You', to his name. Gyles is currently a member of 'The One Show’ team, as well as a contributor to 'This Morning'. As well as this, he is world record holder for making the longest after-dinner speech, and even an Edinburgh Fringe Audience Award winner.
In 'Can't Stop Talking!' he recounts much of his life to date in a selection of tales and stories from his unexpected period in both showbusiness and the political arena. There are certain to be surprises in store; those attending can expect to be invited to spin a wheel in order to decide the topics up for discussion.
