Popular comedian to bring hilarity to Cardiff

The stand-up comic Guz Khan is on the road with his new live show, and is due to play a gig in Cardiff in mid-January.

This Bafta-nominee, writer, actor and comedian was born in Birmingham but grew up in Coventry, where he is still based. Originally a teacher in a secondary school, he rose to public prominence through social media with his online video performances as Guzzy Bear.

Khan created and stars in the BBC's comedy 'Man Like Mobeen' as well as appearing in Mindy Kaling’s 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' on Hulu. He also acts in Netflix's 'Turn Up Charlie' which stars Idris Elba and in Sky’s 'Curfew', a drama with Sean Bean.

His other television work includes featuring on Channel 4's 'The Last Leg' and 'Taskmaster', along with BBC's popular 'Live at the Apollo'. Among his most notable film credits is 'Army of Thieves' on Netflix.

Indeed, Khan is recognised for successfully transferring his large-screen personality to the live stage environment. Along with Mo Amer, Khan delivered their 'Persons of Interest' show to sell-out audiences.

Tickets cost £29.75. Print shops can provide useful services for those involved in the promotion of a forthcoming comedy or theatrical event.

'Guz Khan's Live' has a starting time of 7.30pm on Friday 12th January. The venue for the event is New Theatre, Cardiff.
