The New York artist originally began working in the music scene of the South Bronx and Manhattan's Lower East Side. She came to wider public attention touring with blues stalwart Joe Louis Walker and maestro guitarist Popa Chubby.
Sari signed to Manhaton Records, the UK's pre-eminent rock/blues music label, and subsequently released three albums. Her initial 2016 album ‘A Force of Nature’ had Mike Vernon onboard as producer, who has previously worked with the likes of Fleetwood Mac and David Bowie.
Both her debut and the follow-up album ‘Never Say Never’ received warm critical receptions, citing her stormy-sounding voice and emotional delivery. Recently, Sari put together her own group to tour the USA and Europe. Indeed, her latest release ‘Live in Europe’ was recorded whilst on the road.
She is often described as being a fusion of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner. According to Classic Rock Magazine:
“Schorr can sing ‘em. All husk and muscle, the operatically trained New Yorker makes you believe every stormy line”
Tickets cost £20 inclusive of a booking fee. The use of flyer printing can be most effective when it comes to promoting a concert or musical event.
