The Welsh capital of Cardiff will welcome a rock band from Australia.
Australian rock three-piece the DMA’s will be playing a concert at Cardiff University later this year. From college campuses to clubs and stadiums, those hosting live music events can sometimes use flyer printing services to advertise upcoming act and performances, to draw in the crowds.
Formerly known as “The Dirty MA’s” the band later shortened their name after Australian radio presenters continued to mispronounce it, leading to listeners believing they were called the “The Dirty Mars”.
Under their current name, the band includes Johnny Took, Tommy O’Dell and Matt Mason, and has enjoyed critical success both at home and here in the United Kingdom since beginning in 2012.
The trio gained a firm following with their top 100 hit “Delete” and a self-titled Extended Play record in 2014 before signing to the I OH YOU label the same year. The band’s "Play It Out" track was included on the game soundtrack for FIFA 17, and here in the UK the DMA’s have supported numerous British bands like The Kooks, Kasabian, and former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher on his solo tour.
The DMA’s will play The Great Hall located on the first floor of Cardiff University’s Students Union building on Senghennydd Road on Saturday, November 6 between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm.
